data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Spontaneous heating is caused by the contact of oxygen in the air with matter, generating heat that is not dissipated to the outside. This undissipated heat reaches the spontaneous ignition temperature.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a6cc023 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"a6cc023\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Spontaneously flammable (pyrophoric) liquids:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>When ignited within five minutes after spillage on an inert substrate<\/li>\n<li>Either ignite or carbonate after five minutes on a dry filter paper support<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Pyrophoric substances are considered packing group I.<\/p>\n<p>Those materials in which a cubic sample of 10 cm of side, at 140\u00baC temperature, if in a period of 24 hours spontaneous inflammation or a temperature increase of more than 200\u00baC is observed will be classified in class 4.2. If the material to be treated is prepared in a cubic sample of 2.5 cm of side at a test temperature of 140\u00baC during 24 hours, spontaneous inflammation or heating of more than 200\u00baC should be observed, we assign packing group II. If this test does not bear fruit we apply a cubic sample of 10 cm of side at a test temperature of 140\u00baC for a period of 24 hours, we assign packing group III.<\/p>\n<p>Substances transported in packages with a volume not exceeding 3 m3 shall not be considered as Class 4.2 if the test has been carried out on a cubic sample of 10 cm on each side at a temperature of 120\u00baC and does not show spontaneous ignition or temperature rise above 180\u00baC during 24 hours.<\/p>\n<p>Materials transported in packages with a volume of less than 450m3 are not considered to be of class 4.2 if the test on a cubic sample of 10 cm of side at 100\u00baC does not experience spontaneous ignition or temperature increase at 160\u00baC during 24 hours.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5087f47 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"5087f47\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\" data-settings=\"{&quot;background_background&quot;:&quot;classic&quot;}\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f4081c5 elementor-widget__width-inherit elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"f4081c5\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Class 4.2 packing groups<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5ff30e8 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"5ff30e8\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The criteria to establish the packing groups as well as the criteria to establish if it belongs to a class are:<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a9e6401 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"a9e6401\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b6c6b95 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"b6c6b95\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ul>\n<li>Pyrophoric substances should be included in packing group I.<\/li>\n<li>Substances that undergo spontaneous heating on a cubic sample of 2.5 cm of side at 140\u00baC for 24 hours, if it shows spontaneous ignition or heating of more than 200\u00baC, are considered as packing group II.<\/li>\n<li> <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-cd3f5f9 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"cd3f5f9\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ul>\n<li>Materials that undergo spontaneous heating, if a temperature of 140\u00baC is applied to a cubic sample of 2.5 cm for 24 hours, spontaneous ignition or a temperature increase of 200\u00baC is not observed, but if the cubic sample passes to 10cm on a side if it is observed, it will be considered as packing group III.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ADR Class 4.2 Pyrophoric materials, both liquids and solids, which in contact with air ignite within five minutes.
