the contact of oxygen in the air with matter, generating heat that is not dissipated to the outside. This undissipated heat reaches the spontaneous ignition temperature.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a6cc023 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"a6cc023\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>When solid oxidizing substances not expressly mentioned are assigned a heading of 2.2.51.3 on the basis of a procedure described in the Manual of Tests and Criteria depending on whether it is test O.1 or O.3, the following criteria shall be applied:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Class 5.1 solid matter is considered when mixed 4\/1 or 1\/1 with cellulose ignites or burns, the duration of combustion is comparable to the 3\/7 potassium bromate\/cellulose mixture, according to test O.1.<\/li>\n<li>It is considered solid matter of class 5.1 when when mixed 4\/1 or 1\/1 with cellulose ignites or burns the duration of combustion is comparable to the mixture calcium peroxide cellulose of 1\/2, according to test O.3.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These subjects are assigned to packing groups I, II and III.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7acbe4d e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"7acbe4d\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\" O1:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>GE I: any material mixed in 4\/1 or 1\/1 with cellulose has a lower average burning time as the mixture 3\/2 bromate and cellulose.<\/li>\n<li>GE II: any material mixed in 4\/1 or 1\/1 with cellulose has a lower average burning time as the mixture 2\/3 bromate and cellulose, if it does not meet the criteria of GE mixed in 4\/1 or 1\/1 with cellulose has a higher average burning time as the mixture 1\/1 calcium peroxide and cellulose, otherwise it meets the criteria of I.<\/li>\n<li>GEIII: any material mixed 4\/1 or 1\/1 with cellulose has a higher burning rate as the mixture \u00bd calcium peroxide and cellulose, if it does not also meet criteria I and ignites and produces a high pressure comparable to the mixture of perchloric acid with 50% 1\/1 cellulose.<\/li>\n<li>Packing group II applies to material which when mixed with cellulose 1\/1 causes a pressure rise comparable to that of a mixture of sodium chlorate at 40% cellulose 1\/1 and which does not meet the criteria of packing group I.<\/li>\n<li>Packing group III applies to those materials which when mixed with 1\/1 cellulose produce a pressure rise similar to the mixture of 65% nitric acid with 1\/1 cellulose and do not meet the criteria of I and
